Ever find yourself wondering… How the heck did I end up here?
You glance at your life—your job, your bank account, your body, your relationships—and think:
“Wait. What just happened?!”
I get it. I’ve been there too.
When I woke up in my mid-40s, I didn’t recognize the woman staring back at me.
She was depressed, sick, and stuck in toxic relationships.
She was swirling in fear and anxiety.
She was existing… but not really living.
Every day felt like Groundhog Day—same thoughts, same habits, same emotional hangover.
And one day, it finally hit me:
“What I’m doing today is the result of what I did yesterday.
And if I want tomorrow to look different… I have to stop repeating today.”
💥 BOOM.
That moment of awareness cracked something open in me.
I realized that the woman I had become—broke, exhausted, unfulfilled—was created from the same recycled beliefs and behaviors of my past.
So if I wanted to become someone new—someone happy, healthy, financially stable, deeply fulfilled, and finally free—I had to stop hitting repeat on yesterday.
If You Want a New Tomorrow, Stop Repeating Yesterday
We’re creatures of habit, right?
We wake up, do the same things, think the same thoughts, believe the same stories—and wonder why nothing changes.
But here’s the truth:
You’re also a creature of change.
And you hold the key to transforming your future.
That’s where my favorite mindset tool comes in…
The B3 Method: Believe. Behave. Become.
If I could only teach one thing, this would be it.
The B3 Method is super simple and seriously life-changing.
It’s built on three little words that shape your entire reality:
1. Believe
Beliefs don’t fall from the sky.
They come from your thoughts—repeated over and over again.
“I’m not smart enough.”
“I’ll never get out of this.”
“I’m too old to change.”
Sound familiar?
These thoughts build well-worn neural pathways in your brain—like mental highways you cruise down on autopilot.
But here’s the good news:
You can take the next exit. You can rewire those pathways and build new beliefs.
Because what you believe… becomes how you behave.
2. Behave
Your actions are a reflection of your beliefs.
If you believe you’re unworthy, you’ll act like it.
If you believe you’re powerful, you’ll show up that way.
Your habits, your routines, your decisions—they all flow from what you believe is true about you.
So if your behaviors aren’t matching the life you say you want, it’s time to trace them back to your beliefs—and shift them.
3. Become
This is where the magic happens.
Beliefs + Behaviors = Who You Become.
You are not “just the way you are.”
You are who you’ve repeatedly practiced being.
So the woman you are today?
She was built by yesterday’s beliefs and behaviors.
But the woman you want to be tomorrow?
She’s waiting for you to stop the cycle and start again—with intention.
“You can’t become a new you with the same old beliefs. You can’t build a new life with yesterday’s habits.”
So How Do You Start?
Start with awareness.
Notice your thoughts.
Pay attention to what you’re telling yourself.
Get quiet long enough to hear the ticker tape of beliefs running in your mind.
Meditation can help.
Journaling can help.
Stillness can help.
And if you’re not sure what beliefs are holding you back?
Try this:
3-Minute Dream Life Exercise
Take three minutes today and imagine your dream life.
Where would you live?
Who would be around you?
How would you feel in your body?
What would your days look like?
What would you do for work, fun, or rest?
Now imagine taking a step toward that life.
What thoughts come up?
What resistance shows up?
That’s your inner script.
And that’s exactly where your work begins.
Ready to Go Deeper?
If you’re craving more tools to help you become the woman you’re meant to be, I’ve got just the thing.
My book, Women Waking Up: The Midlife Manifesto for Passion, Purpose, and Play (flying off the shelves 09.09.25), dives into all of this—and so much more.
Here’s a sneak peek…
In Chapter 3, Become Your Own BFF, I teach a powerful technique I call the Stop, Drop, and Roll Method—a playful and practical way to interrupt those nasty thought loops and start building beliefs that actually support the woman you’re becoming. (Spoiler alert: it works—and it’s fun. 😉)
Then in Chapter 4, Step Into the New You, I’ll walk you through a powerful visualization and journaling exercise designed to help you clearly envision—and fully embody—your future self. So she’s not just a dream… she becomes your reality.
Your future self will thank you.
And honestly?
She already is.
I’d love to hear: What’s one belief you’re rewriting starting today?

Love this! The B3 Method is brilliant!
It’s not hard. I get to do this. Working on my business often can feel hard but taking steps, getting into action and remembering I am powerful and I get to do this.
